Greetings and welcome to the UC Links activity guide database! Many kids and undergraduates who take part in UC Links like to use activity guides to help guide their activities.

writing an assignment

The purpose of activity guides is to enhance the educational value of the computer game or activity, tie the activity to core curriculum and to teach students how to follow a series of written instructions. Typically, activity guides have 3 levels of mastery for the activity: beginner, good and expert levels. Activity guides are often accompanied by worksheets, logs or maps.

The purpose of this database is to facilitate the exchange of the many wonderful activity guides that have been developed by members of the UC Links Community. Within this database you will find activity guides for activities ranging from computer based games to digital stories. It is our hope that you will contribute your own activity guides to the database as well as discover new ones that can be used at your site. We encourage you to be creative! Modify and build on existing activity guides! Share your revisions/creations with others. There is no such thing as one right activity guide. The sky is the LIMIT!
